Research and accuracy
- We check facts against official and reliable sources wherever possible, such as government and visa portals, the Royal Commission for AlUla, Saudi Arabia Railways, airports and the businesses themselves.
- Rules, prices and opening hours change, and in Saudi Arabia they have been changing fast. Where details are likely to change, we say so and point you to the official source rather than guessing.
- We do not publish prices unless we have a reliable source, and we avoid exact opening hours that may be out of date.
Respect and sensitivity
We write about Saudi culture, religion and customs with respect. Where rules apply to visitors, such as dress codes or the fact that only Muslims may enter Makkah, we explain them clearly and without sensationalism, so you can travel confidently and considerately.
Independence
We decide what to cover and recommend. holidaysaudi.com is not affiliated with the Saudi Tourism Authority, visitsaudi.com or any government body. We do not accept payment for positive reviews, and businesses cannot buy a place in our lists. Some links are affiliate links, which help fund the site; they never determine our recommendations. What we will never publish
- Fake reviews, invented quotes or made-up testimonials.
- Fictional authors. Our content is written by the holidaysaudi.com team.
- Advice that puts your safety or legal position at risk for the sake of a better story.
Updates and corrections
We review pages regularly and update them when something changes. If you find an error, please email us via our contact page. We correct mistakes promptly and, where a correction changes the meaning of advice, we make that clear on the page.
Our English and Arabic pages are written for their readers rather than translated word for word, so details and emphasis can differ slightly between languages, but the facts are the same.
